K'Alexi Shelby gets back on Goldmin Music with his Compute ep, a shimmering futuristic techno release. Forward driving but still packed with emotion, this is how the Chicago veteran is able to bring something new & innovative with old recipes.
Again, perception and impressions while listening a track may vary with the mood, the weather, the place where you listen to it...
But to us, he definitely captured the dynamism and the swiftness of a big city. And compute drives you from the beginning to the end from a part of a city to another and doesn't let you any single second to rest. That's very subjective, so yes give it your very own sense!
Deeper than the title track, "the way home" is a very subtle and innovative tune that will also take you on a wonderful journey while "Get her prize" is kind of a bonus track, a tribute to filtered chicago stuff that may work well on the floor as well.
Yes indeed it couldn't get any more epic and varied!
