After 2 of the greatest EPs we have had the chance to release, we welcome back one of our favourite house producers Tony Lionni with his most diverse release to date "Pandora". As we have been working together for 3 years and have released an Ep each year we thought this time we would like to make something special and even more memorable to celebrate this collaboration as well as the 5 years of Goldmin records. "Straight Ahead" released in 2015 was a very typical Tony Lionni release. Modern 2010's house at it's best. Last year's release "A photograph of you" was also reminscent of this: "There's no future in the past" a wicked track accompanied by 2 deeper Tracks. So right after the last release we talked with him and thought it could be interesting to go further next time. How could we provide djs and listeners a timeless package featuring all of the man's width and depth and that's hopefully what he delivers here with "Pandora" "Pandora" is a 6 track mini-lp affair that covers all of the man's influences and yet as with all great creative minds, his influences are very well digested and exploited in the best way possible by bringing the music he loves into something familiar yet completely new. You could feel the very 4AM dub-techno vibe in Deep Cavern, with its enveloping sounds combined with an hectic peak-time assemblage of drums and rhythm. You might also notice an early Planet-E feeling on Footpatrol, Spectra and Electro Playsm. There's no choice to make between these 3, all have that crazy energy that won't let you breathe until the dj makes it's transition while Pandora and Half Past Autumn do the job in a more classic heavenly way. All these tracks remain connected somehow and that's how we love to do it. So, this is not exactly an album, not exactly an ep, not exactly a best-of. Call it what you want or maybe Tony Lionni's Pandora box because there's a certain magic to it all.
