Since we first listened to Christonia5 music, we knew we had to do something with her sooner or later..
We discovered Christina Aktenzeichen alias Christonia5's music through her amazing dj mixes back in 2010… She was mixing dub edits of algerian legend Lili boniche with early Martin L. Gore productions as well as unusual techno stuff.. Well the result was really mindblowing... A real musical UFO
Christonia5 alias Christina Aktenzeichen has been busily working, trying, failing, re-thinking her music last few years.. (don't we all?) until she sent us this amazing ep.. That wasn't hard to say, this is goldmin! it felt like complete obviousness from the very first listen.. Christina got to bring us/hopefully you to her very personal universe.. There is no need to be an ambient/experimental music fan to enjoy this as her music is sufficient on it's own..
It can probably be interpreted in several ways and abstract art is all about that very personal interpretation but her tunes keep a kind of cosmic natural beauty that isn't hard to feel. Right now writing this, i would call it abstract ballad.. Sounds good uh? :)
Anyway, i won't try to describe the music anymore, this would be futile with this one.. Put your imagination at work!
PS: If you're going to play "Naia" with a subwoofer, you better on good terms with your neighbours...
